Man Threatens Another At Elmhurst Church: Cops

The man is also accused of stealing from the church's donation box, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A man caused a disturbance early Tuesday morning at Visitation Catholic Church, 799 S. York St., and threatened someone else, Elmhurst police said.

Police said they also determined the man, identified as 67-year-old Steven Caruso of Melrose Park, stole $20 from the church donation box. It took place shortly before 6 a.m., police said.

Caruso was arrested on charges of theft from a place of worship and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
