Man Threatens Elmhurst Fast Food Worker: Cops

Another man was arrested after using credit cards that appeared to be connected to pickpocket thefts, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of disorderly conduct, identity theft, retail theft and being a fugitive from justice. Here is information from the latest arrest log:

Disorderly conduct

  • Andrew H. Guzzo, 39, of Wood Dale, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald's, 920 N. York St., on a charge of disorderly conduct. After a misunderstanding at the drive-thru, Guzzo threatened a McDonald's employee, police said. He was released on bond.

Identity theft

  • Kazeal Chowdhury, 46, of Detroit, was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday at Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83, on a charge of identity theft. Police said they stopped Chowdhury for being involved in pickpocket thefts. They also said he admitted to using stolen credit cards to buy merchandise. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Retail theft

  • Letarn Harris, 41, of Villa Park, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Monday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, on a charge of retail theft. Police said he stole two pairs of gym shoes. He was released on bond.

Fugitive from justice

  • Audwin Griffith, 50, of La Grange, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Industrial Drive on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He is wanted in Ohio. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Warrant

  • Thomas J. Sanhamel, 44, of West Chicago, was arrested on a warrant about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of South Route 83 on a McHenry County warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
