Man Threatens Medic In Elmhurst Parking Garage: Police

The man said he had been battered, but then became uncooperative, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – A Deerfield man is accused of threatening a paramedic while advancing toward him, Elmhurst police said.

Ricardo J. Gomez, 24, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and taken to the DuPage County Jail, police said.

About 8 p.m. Friday, first responders showed up at the city's parking deck at 145 N. Addison Ave., for Gomez, police said. He reported that he had been battered, but then quickly became uncooperative, police said.
