Man Tries To Set Fire To Elmhurst House: Cops
The suspect is also accused of fighting officers at the police station, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – A man tried to set fire to a house during a domestic disturbance on New Year's Day, Elmhurst police said.
Officers found the man and took him into custody.
The incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. in the 700 block of North Emroy Avenue, police said.

At the police station, the man fought with officers, police said.
The man was taken to a local hospital, while officers filed a warrant against him charging attempted aggravated arson, attempted residential arson and aggravated battery to a police officer.
