Man Violates Bond In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Cops
In another case, a man tried to flee officers after striking a railing, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of aggravated fleeing, violating a bail bond, befouling public property, drunken driving and disorderly conduct. Here is information from the latest arrest log:
Violation of bail bond
- James R. Hale, 70, of Elk Grove Village, was arrested about 6 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Michigan Street on charges of violating his bail bond and disorderly conduct. Hale admitted to making contact with a victim, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Aggravated fleeing

- James M. Ussery Jr., 31, of Chicago, was arrested about 3 a.m. Friday at Poplar and Crescent on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding an officer, disobeying a stop sign, improper lane usage, driving with a suspended license, and failing to give information to an owner after striking property. Police said he struck a building railing and then ran away. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Befouling public property
- A 46-year-old man from Woodridge was cited about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the police station, 125 E. First St., on charges of befouling public property and possession of open alcohol in public. Police said the drunk man was throwing up on the carpet. He was released to the care of hospital staff.

- A 31-year-old man from Bridgeview was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the police station, 125 E. First St., on a charge of DUI. He was arrested after a call about a road rage incident. He was released on bond.
- A 22-year-old man from Glendale Heights was arrested about 3 a.m. Friday at West and North avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and speeding. He was released on bond.
- A 28-year-old man from Chicago was arrested about 9 p.m. Sunday at York Street and St. Charles Road on a charge of DUI. He was released on bond.
Disorderly conduct
- A 34-year-old woman from Palatine was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Sunday near Williams Liquors & Tobacco, 925 S. York St., on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was accused of publicly urinating in the presence of officers who were called to a disturbance. She was released on bond.
