Masked Suspects Leave Elmhurst Store: Police

ELMHURST, IL – Four males with full face masks approached the Verizon store at 560 W. St. Charles Road late Sunday morning, police said.

Two of them entered the store and were told they could not wear masks in the store, police said. The guard moved the right side of his jacket and exposed his holstered handgun to the suspects, police said.

The pair quickly left the store and ran toward the west side of the building, police said.

Police were called, but could not find the suspects. The incident was labeled as "suspicious circumstances."

Two of them were described as black, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9, 15 to 19 years old and having dreadlocks. The other two were said to be black and 15 to 19 years old.
