Memories At Field? Tell Elmhurst About Them

ELMHURST, IL – Field Elementary School's days are numbered, with a wrecking ball expected to hit it this summer.

District 205 plans to replace the school on Emroy Avenue with a new building. But that won't wipe away residents' memories of the place.

Because of that, the district is calling all current and former Field students, families, teachers and staff to submit videos about their cherished memories and funny stories at Field.

Submissions will be put together to be shown at the Farewell to Field event next month, the district said in a Facebook post on Friday. More details on the event are expected soon.

• Film yourself in landscape mode (horizontally)
• Find a quiet spot with good lighting (face a window, if possible)
• If your video is too large to send via email, send the district a Google Drive link, or via We Transfer
