'Merry Christmas Dummy,' Elmhurst Resident Told
Someone made an odd delivery to a local house, according to a police report.
ELMHURST, IL – Christmas is nearly 200 days away, but some are already spreading holiday wishes – sort of.
Overnight Thursday, someone placed a damaged black leather office chair on the patio of a house in the 200 block of East Fremont Avenue, Elmhurst police said.
A thank-you card containing the words "Merry Christmas dummy" and a vulgar drawing were left on the seat of the chair, police said.
