Movie In The Park Held By Elmhurst Park District
The first Movie in the Park event will be held Friday, June 16, with a showing of "The Secret Life of Pets."
ELMHURST, IL — Enjoy a summer night and watch a movie with the Elmhurst Park District. The park district will kick off its Movies in the Park series with a showing of "The Secret Life of Pets" on Friday, June 16.
According to the park district website, free popcorn will be available and food truck vendors will be on-site at Wilder Park. The movie begins at dusk, but there will be a family craft project at 7:30 p.m. prior to the movie.
According to the website, Movies in the Park is organized through a partnership between Elmhurst Park District and Elmhurst Public Library and is presented by Edward-Elmhurst Health, The Schiller Team @ properties, and Suburban Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Company.

Two other movies will be shown later this summer as part of the Movies in the Park series. "Zootopia" will play Friday, July 14; and the third movie will be "The Love Bug" on Friday, Aug. 11.
