The Elmhurst Park District is pleased to announce the addition of Julie Rushmeyer to the recreation department. Rushmeyer will take over as Program Manager for Early Childhood & Youth, with a focus on developing and overseeing programs and recreational experiences for this age group.
Rushmeyer brings a breadth of experience in creating and supervising early childhood and youth programs, as she previously served as Program Manager for Early Childhood, Preschool, and Special Recreation at Lindenhurst Park District, as well as at Lan-Oak Park District. Rushmeyer holds a Master of Science in Recreation Administration from Aurora University in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education from Illinois State University.
