No Fees For Elmhurst Storm Debris After All
The city's waste hauler plans a special yard waste pickup Saturday.

ELMHURST, IL – After Monday's storm, the city of Elmhurst said the usual yard waste fees would apply for the resulting debris.
That changed Wednesday.
In a news release, the city announced its trash hauler, Republic Services, would hold a special pickup this weekend. It plans to collect bundles of tree branches without yard waste stickers, no matter the number.

A resident can also place tree debris in a 33-gallon garbage can, but it cannot exceed 50 pounds.
