Noises And Flashes In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Cops
Elmhurst police pointed to what they believed to be the cause of the disturbance.
ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police said they received a call Wednesday night about noises and flashes coming from Butterfield Park.
About 8:30 p.m., officers checked the park and did not find any evidence of suspicious activity. They spoke to nearby residents and learned a home bordering the park experienced a short power outage at the time of the noise, police said.
Police said they believed the loud noises were related to an electrical problem in the area.
