Note Left With Abandoned Dog In Elmhurst
The owners gave a reason for why they left the dog, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst officer responded this week to a report of an abandoned dog with a note attached, police said.
The note said the owners could no longer take care of the gray and white pit bull, which appeared malnourished, according to a police report.
The dog was found on a leash Monday at an apartment complex's dog park in the 400 block of West St. Charles Road, police said.
