Opening Reception Held for 'Chicago Artists Interpret Shakespeare: As They Like It'
The reception takes place Nov. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Elmhurst Art Museum.

The Elmhurst Artists Guild is hosting an opening reception Nov. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Elmhurst Art Museum for the guild’s invitational show, “Chicago Artists Interpret Shakespeare: As They Like It.”
The show is “an ambitious exhibit featuring more than 40 well-known Chicago artists who have based their works on selections from the plays and poetry of Shakespeare,” according to a news release.
The show will run through Jan, 2, 2015 in the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild gallery of the Elmhurst Art Museum.

Admission to the EAG gallery and the Elmhurst Art Museum is free on Fridays. The exhibit is open during regular museum hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. On days other than Fridays, Museum admission for adults is $5, seniors and students $3, and children under 5, free.
