Sexual Battery On Elmhurst's Illinois Prairie Path, Suspect Seen On Camera: Police (patch.com) — Elmhurst residents are being warned after a woman was sexually battered while running on the Illinois Prairie Path between York Street and Pioneer Park in Elmhurst. Police released a description of the suspect, seen on camera riding an electric scooter west on Vallette Street, and issued an alert to nearby Elmhurst neighborhoods. Residents are urged to stay vigilant on the path.

North Central Picked to Repeat in Women's Soccer Preseason Poll (cciw.org) — Elmhurst University's women's soccer team is picked to tie for fourth in the CCIW preseason poll, returning 10 starters and several all-conference standouts, including All-Region defender Nora Simon. The conference slate starts Sept. 23 when Elmhurst visits Augustana, with top teams advancing to a November tournament hosted by higher seeds and free streaming all season on the CCIW Network.
