Co-Warehousing Hub Set For Elmhurst, Saltbox's 1st In Midwest (patch.com) — Elmhurst entrepreneurs will soon have a new option for flexible warehouse and office space as Saltbox opens its first Midwestern co-warehousing hub on North Church Road. The 114-suite facility will offer everything from loading docks and fulfillment support to conference rooms named for local landmarks like Salt Creek and Cottage Hill, aiming to keep Chicagoland founders working closer to home. Local product-based businesses can choose from small starter suites to larger spaces designed for full fulfillment teams.
   

2. Elmhurst Superintendent's 1992 Death Changed District's Trajectory (patch.com) — Longtime Elmhurst teacher David Venetucci reflects on the leadership and character of former District 205 Superintendent Dr. Russell Thiems, whose 1992 death he believes reshaped Elmhurst's public schools. Elmhurst Woman Threatens To Hurt Cop, Then Does So: Police (patch.com) — Elmhurst readers are learning more about a 26-year-old local woman who, according to police, threatened to hurt officers and then shoved and kicked them after being found circling a downtown parking garage while suspected of DUI. The woman, who was later taken to Elmhurst Hospital for a blood draw, now faces a felony aggravated battery to a police officer charge along with DUI and related counts.
