Pool User Disturbs Elmhurst Neighbor: Cops
A bothersome guest was renting the pool through an app, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Guests at Airbnbs have been known to disturb neighbors. Now, there's another app that may unsettle a neighborhood.
It's called "Swimply," which allows people to rent such things as private pools, courts and backyards by the hour.
About 8 p.m. Saturday, Elmhurst police were called to the 200 block of South Poplar Avenue for a loud noise complaint, according to a report.

The person complaining told police the homeowner rents out a pool using Swimply and that the guest was being discourteous, police said.
An officer contacted the homeowner, who was uncooperative in answering questions, police said.
