Problems At 3 Elmhurst Businesses: Cops

A fired worker was reported to have stolen a company truck.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police were called about problems at three businesses. Here is information from the reports:

  • A business at 155 Industrial Drive told police June 20 that an employee had stolen a company truck after being fired. Officers found the truck and discovered the suspect had a valid lease agreement with the company. An officer told the company it was a civil issue.
  • A suspect became agitated with an employee about 7 p.m. Wednesday at Master Capital Solutions, 977 N. Oaklawn Ave. The suspect was issued a no-trespass notice.
  • A business at 655 W. Grand Ave. told police June 20 that a suspect made threats to employees. The suspect denied doing so. The business declined to sign a complaint.
