Prostitute Steals Money In Elmhurst: Report

ELMHURST, IL – A man told Elmhurst police officers that a prostitute stole his money this week by accessing his phone, authorities said

The man said he invited two female prostitutes to his room Monday at Clarion Inn, 933 S. Riverside Drive, police said.

While they were listening to music, one of the women took his phone to change the music, but then used it to access Venmo and Zelle to transfer money from his account, police said.

This is at least the second incident involving prostitution in recent times, police said. The other was an incident in early August at the Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave.

Both hotels have received chronic nuisance warnings from the city this year.
