A Rare Littering Charge In Elmhurst
A homeless man was cited on such a charge in an incident at a restaurant.
ELMHURST, IL – Littering is a rare charge in Elmhurst, but a homeless man was cited for that offense this week, police said.
Shortly after noon Tuesday, police received a call about a man disturbing customers and refusing to leave Starbucks, 624 N. York St., Elmhurst police said.
The 59-year-old homeless man was found and served a no-trespass notice. He then repeatedly threw paper on the ground, police said.

Police said they then arrested the man on a charge of littering. He was released on bond.
