Rep. Conroy Hosts Community Shred Day to Combat Identity Theft

VILLA PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) partnered with AT&T and the Villa Park Environmental Club to offer a community shred day for local residents at the parking lot outside of her constituent services office.

 he event gave local area residents the opportunity to safely dispose of various old, unneeded, or sensitive documents, like old tax returns, outdated health care records, old pay stubs, etc.  The event was held to help prevent identity theft by providing a safe method of destroying these sensitive records.
