Rep. Conroy Invites Seniors to Coffee, Cake, & Conversation

VILLA PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) is inviting area seniors to attend her first Coffee, Cake, and Conversation meeting. The event will be held on Thursday, June 5th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the CU Latte Café located at 9 E. Park Blvd. in Villa Park.

“The conversations during these meetings help me better understand the challenges that seniors in our community are facing,” Conroy said. “I look forward to an engaging discussion and I urge local seniors to join me for some coffee and cake.”

Additionally, Conroy will be hosting a Women’s Issues Advisory Committee Meeting on Wednesday, June 11th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at her constituent services office located at 28 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park. Any area resident interested in women’s issues is invited to attend.

“While I am back from Springfield over the course of the summer I plan on talking with as many people as possible to get feedback about state issues,” Conroy said. “In addition to talking with residents at their doors, I will be hosting various advisory committee meetings, coffee discussions, and other events throughout the district.”
