VILLA PARK - State Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) is accepting applications for summer internship positions in her district office.
Internship responsibilities include acting as a liaison between constituents and the state of Illinois, researching and writing about legislation, and assisting community outreach projects. Work hours are flexible, but general limited to office hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
“I am always eager to help get young people involved in Government and their communities,” Conroy said. “A summer internship is a great way to get some experience in a professional environment.”

Recent high school graduates and college students with an interest in government and local issues are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants should either send a copy cover letter and resume to repdebconroy@gmail.com or drop off a hard copy to Rep. Conroy’s constituent services office located at 28 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park.
