Ribbon Cutting Planned For Conrad Fischer Park

The park has been redeveloped over the past year, and construction has now been completed.

ELMHURST, IL — The Elmhurst Park District will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at Conrad Fischer Park at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 27. The park has been redeveloped over the past year, and construction has been completed, according to the park district.

Sports courts at the park have been repainted and restriped to allow for more sports. The two tennis courts and one roller hockey court were converted to one tennis court, one futsal court and two half basketball courts.

New playground equipment was also installed at the park, according to the park district. The equipment is modern, blue and green, and is designed for the 2-5 age group.
