Ride On The Elmhurst Trolley This Summer
The route travels to different shopping districts in Elmhurst, making stops near shops, restaurants and entertainment.

ELMHURST, IL – The Explore Elmhurst Express Trolley is back for its fourth season, according to the city. The trolley offers visitors and residents a free 30-minute ride around the city of Elmhurst, and makes six stops across the city. The trolley runs every Friday and Saturday, June 1 through Sept. 15 from noon to midnight.
The Explore Elmhurst Express is equipped with GPS, which allows riders to track the trolley’s location by visiting ExploreElmhurst.com. The city said the route travels to different shopping districts in Elmhurst, making stops near shops, restaurants and entertainment. Riders will also enjoy listening to the Elmhurst College Jazz Band and a historical narrative about the City.

- Stop 1: York and Park – Approximate boarding time is on the hour and 30 minutes after the hour
- Stop 2: York and Schiller – Approximate boarding time is 5 and 35 minutes after the hour
- Stop 3: Second and Addison – Approximate boarding time is 10 and 40 minutes after the hour
- Stop 4: Cottage Hill and Virginia – Approximate boarding time is 15 and 45 minutes after the hour
- Stop 5: Spring and the Illinois Prairie Path – Approximate boarding time is 20 and 50 minutes after the hour
- Stop 6: York and Vallette – Approximate boarding time is 25 and 55 minutes after the hour
The trolley is handicapped accessible and ADA compliant, according to the city. Collapsible and small strollers that fit in the seating area are welcome aboard. On-board storage is unavailable and it is against fire code to place strollers, bikes, or belongings in the trolley’s aisle.
