Road Rage, DUI: Elmhurst Cops
A man alleged another driver displayed a handgun during a road rage incident, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a DUI, road rage, drug possession, fraud, a fugitive driver and fraud. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
DUI
- Krystyna Cuellar, 31, of Villa Park, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Route 83 on charges of DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road. She was released on bond.

- A man told police another driver displayed a handgun after he honked at her for cutting him off about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Road and Route 83. The woman said she accidentally cut off the man, causing him to yell and swear at her. Police said they determined a gun was never displayed. Because of conflicting stories, no charges were filed.
- Police responded to a road rage incident about 8 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Road and Route 83. Upon arrival, they could not find the cars involved.
Drug possession
- Dwayne Wright, 61, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and North Avenue on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts), DUI (drugs) and parking on the roadway. Police said they found Wright sleeping behind the wheel. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Fraud

- A person fraudulently used a Visa card to buy merchandise about 11:30 a.m. Monday at The Gaming Goat, 160 N. York St. An investigation is pending.
Fugitive driver
- An officer tried to stop a driver for speeding about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at Route 83 and Interstate 290. The driver sped away, last seen traveling east on I-290.
