Salesman Disorderly At Elmhurst Restaurant: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – A candy bar salesman apparently wouldn't take no for an answer.

The man visited Mata Ne New Asian restaurant, 130 N. York St., about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.

He tried to sell candy bars, but the business stated it wasn't interested, police said. The man then became angry and refused to leave.

The man left before police arrived. If he is found, he will receive a no-trespass notice, police said.

The man was described as black, having short hair, 5-foot-7, 175 pounds, and wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and black and white tennis shoes.
