Sex Offender Arrested In Elmhurst

The man was convicted of child pornography, with the victim under 1, according to the state.

ELMHURST, IL – A registered sex offender was arrested this week in Elmhurst on a domestic battery charge, according to public records.

Bryan R. Roehr, 35, of Villa Park, was taken to the DuPage County Jail on Tuesday. He has since been released.

He was arrested in connection with an incident that occurred about 10 a.m. Sept. 11 near St. Charles Road and Cottage Hill Avenue, police said. A woman told police that Roehr struck her.

According to the state police, Roehr was convicted of aggravated child pornography in DuPage County. He was 24 at the time of the crime, with the victim younger than 1, police said.

Roehr lives in the 100 block of North Bierman Avenue in Villa Park.
