The man was seen at least three times last month near the high school, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A sex offender was arrested after being near York High School at least three times last month, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Yuusef Husain, 36, who lives in the 800 block of South Summit Avenue in Villa Park, is on probation for possession of child pornography, according to a news release from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
Elmhurst police said they received numerous reports of young girls being watched and followed by a man while leaving school for the day. Police said they were able to identify Husain as the suspect.

Husain was charged with one felony count of being a child sex offender within 500 feet of school property.
According to the state's sex offender registry, Husain's victim was 13 when he committed his offense in DuPage County. He was 33 at the time.
Prosecutors asked for a $1 million bond for Husain, with 10 percent required for release. A DuPage County judge decided on $250,000, with the 10 percent, prosecutors said.
"This sex offender registration requirement is not optional. It is alleged that on several occasions, Mr. Husain violated this order and will now face not only today’s new charges, but will also now face a petition from my office to revoke his probation," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.
