Shirtless Trio Prompts Elmhurst Police Response
It was among three incidents involving suspicious people in local neighborhoods, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police reported three incidents involving suspicious people in the last few days. Here is the information from the police:
- Police responded to a report of three shirtless, ski mask-wearing people walking on the side of the road about 11 p.m. Monday near Frontage Road and Babcock Avenue. Police saw the trio with shirts tied around their heads. They ran away west into Addison. Addison police were notified.
- A resident in the 800 block of Adele Street told police that a man rang her doorbell and tried the handle to her front door before leaving about 3 p.m. Monday. An investigation is pending. The man was described as black, 18 to 25, 6 feet, 175 pounds, having shoulder-length dreadlocks, and wearing a black "Essentials Fear of God" sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white gym shoes with red laces.
- A man was seen on a doorbell camera talking to someone about a resident's house about 4 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of West Third Street. An investigation is pending. The man was described as white, in his late teens to early 20s, having dark and curly hair, and wearing a black T-shirt and khaki-style pants.
