Statement From DuPage County Board Chairman On COVID-19 Cases
We must intensify our efforts to adhere to the public health guidelines and ask every person to take every individual action they can.
March 17, 2020
“The news from today’s briefing is deeply upsetting. Our hearts are broken for the family of the Chicago woman who passed away. Of course, we are deeply troubled by the news of the increase in cases in DuPage County. We are praying for all of those who are ill. But there’s more we can do. We must intensify our efforts to adhere to the public health guidelines and ask every person to take every individual action they can: social distancing, hand washing, covering sneezes and coughs to protect others. We must do all we can to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.”
