Stolen Car, DUIs: Elmhurst Arrests
Three were charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle, police said.
ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police charged people with being in possession of a stolen vehicle, identity theft, DUI and driving violations. Here is the information from Elmhurst police reports:
Stolen vehicle
- Timothy Meijer, 34, of Hanover Park; Brandon Pence, 26, of Itasca; and Alexis Martinez, 38, of Des Plaines, were arrested Friday at St. Charles and Prospect on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail. The three were in a car that was stolen in Schaumburg, police said.
Identity theft

- Tejah N. Pace, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of identity theft. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Pace used someone else's personal information to open a credit card and car loan. The criminal activity took place from Aug. 13, 2021, to Aug. 26, 2021, police said.
Warrant
- Jennifer Mulder, 39, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Thursday on a DuPage County warrant. She turned herself into the Elmhurst Police Department. She was released on bond.
DUI

- Vanessa Jennings, 27, of Franklin Park, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of West Grand Avenue on charges of DUI and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on bond.
- Jehu Achuahuiti Moyoti, 36, of Bronx, New York, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Melrose and North on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, improper lighting, possession of open alcohol by a driver and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was released on bond.
- Isaias Fabian-Lopez, 32, of Addison, was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday at Highland and Grantley on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Jonathan Smith, 45, of Chicago, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Kenilworth on charges of DUI, attempted forgery, possession of marijuana by a driver, improper driving on the roadway and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. According to a police report, a search of Smith yielded three counterfeit $20 bills.
Driving violations
- Dewan Davis, 30, of Chicago, was cited about 1 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of North York Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released on bond.
- Juan Ramirez, 50, of Berwyn, was cited about 3 p.m. Saturday at Route 83 and North on charges of driving on a revoked license, disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond.
