Suspect Found After Elmhurst Dead-End Crash: Cops
The man ran away after crashing in a local neighborhood, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police said they found a driver who crashed early Wednesday morning in a local neighborhood.
About 2:30 a.m., a driver crashed at the roadway dead end at Hawthorne Avenue and Harrison Street, police said. The driver then ran away.
Before they found the suspect, police said they believed the driver may have been stopped beforehand in the 700 block of South Hillside Avenue. No details were given on that stop.

About 4 a.m., the man was found near Madison Street and Fairview Avenue, police said. His name has not been released.
