Taste of the Town: Food for Life Raises Funds for Local Residents
United Community Concerns Association holds benefit

More than $15,000 was raised for United Community Concerns Association at Taste of the Town: Food for Life, held May 18 at the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst.
Over 240 guests enjoyed delicious food and beverage tastings from 15 Elmhurst businesses, chef demonstrations, and music from the Clay Corso Trio. The money that was raised at the event will be used to provide food for Elmhurst Community School District 205 children and their families experiencing difficult times, as we strengthen our community by ending hunger.
UCCA is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that has provided food and supplies to local residents for 38 years. 99% of all funds that UCCA collects are used to help those in need. Last year UCCA provided almost $86,000 in food and food certificates to more than 300 families and 100 senior residents.
