Tax Hike Going To Elmhurst Council Soon: Official
The city plans to post a draft recommendation about the tax hike later this week.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst alderman on Monday said a city committee is about ready to present a tax increase recommendation to the full City Council.
Alderwoman Noel Talluto, chairwoman of the council's finance committee, told her colleagues that the committee's search for a "new revenue source" is a long time coming.
She said her committee plans to vote on the recommendation at its meeting next Monday.

On Thursday, the city will post a draft recommendation and a question-and-answer memo on its website, Talluto said in an email to Patch.

The committee discussed the tax increase at its meeting in July. Members agreed on a few ideas.
