Teen Girls Bother Elmhurst Resident: Cops
In another case, a woman is found on the ground after her dog caused her to fall, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving disorderly conduct, a dog causing a woman to fall, a chronic nuisance, theft and trespassing. Here is information from the latest police reports:
Disorderly conduct
- A resident in the 300 block of West Eggleston Avenue told police Sunday that three teenage girls banged loudly several times on her front door Sunday night. The resident requested extra patrols in the neighborhood.

- A woman was found lying on the street about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday near Willow and Armitage. She said she was pulled by her dog, causing her to fall. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Chronic nuisance
- A chronic nuisance warning was issued Tuesday for a household in the 100 block of North Highlands Avenue.

- Someone stole two Stihl leaf blowers from an open bed trailer between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of South Fairfield Avenue.
Fugitive driver
- About 1 a.m. Wednesday at Lake and York, an officer tried to stop a driver for speeding. The driver sped away, last seen heading west on Lake Street.
Retail theft
- A man stole items about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at Power Mart, 572 W. Lake St. An investigation is pending. The man was described as black, 40 years old and wearing sunglasses.
- A man and a woman stole items about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83. They were seen traveling north on Route 83. An investigation is pending. The man was described as white or Hispanic, having brown hair and brown eyes, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 150 to 170 pounds, thin, and wearing a gray T-shirt that says "USA," a blue and white hat facing forward, light blue sweatpants and black gym shoes. The woman was described as white or Hispanic, having black hair and brown eyes, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5, 110 to 120 pounds, thin, having light skin and long white nails, and wearing a white top, black zip-up hoodie, jean shorts, white gym shoes and a silver necklace.
Trespassing
- A resident in the 800 block of North Willow Road told police Wednesday that family members gained access to her house and stayed there without permission while the resident was on vacation. A family member was served with a no-trespass notice.
- Police responded to a call about a suspicious person about 5 p.m. Wednesday at Chick-Fil-A, 235 S. Route 83. The woman was given a no-trespass notice for creating a nuisance.
