Teens Seek Help, Then Steal: Elmhurst Cops
They take expensive perfumes after an employee unlocked a case, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Two teenagers asked a Walgreens employee to open a locked case, so they could sample perfume Wednesday, Elmhurst police said.
Then they grabbed two expensive perfumes and ran out of the store, police said.
The incident occurred about 10 a.m. at 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive.

Both suspects were described as 16- to 18-year-old black females.
Police said one teen had black hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt, a white shirt with rainbow lettering, black pants, orange gym shoes, and a tan or pink tote purse.

The other teen had long black hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black shirt with white lettering, black pants and white Crocs, police said.
In another retail theft, a man ran away about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from Old Havana Cigars, 189 E. Butterfield Road, after underpaying the cashier for a glass smoking pipe, police said. He left in a black four-door compact car.
He was described as white, 25 to 35, 220 to 270 pounds, having a large build, and having brown hair and facial hair.
