Traveling Educational Museum Hits Elmhurst This Week
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance will be open for business this week in Elmhurst.

ELMHURST -- Fighting back against hate and intolerance will be the special focus of a visit to Elmhurst this week.
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is on a swing of public appearances across Illinois, spreading its positive message through local public, free events. Learn more about what to expect and where to catch the bus in this press release:
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is an arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center: https://mmot.com/. The MMOT is the first traveling education center of its kind in the United States and visits school districts and public places across Illinois to offer free education and awareness about the very real threat of hate and intolerance in our communities.
The MMOT has proven very popular since its creation, and is now booked to appear in school districts and libraries throughout Illinois well into 2025. The bus offers workshops and a hands-on educational platform to reach thousands of students and encourage them to speak against bullying, hate, racism, anti-Semitism, and much more.
The bus will visit your area:
· Monday, July 10, through Thursday, July 13
· July 10 and 12: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., July 11: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., July 13: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
· Elmhurst Public Library (125 S. Prospect Ave, Elmhurst)
