Unconscious Woman, Domestics: Elmhurst Cops
A woman was found unconscious outside her room at a local hotel, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving an unconscious woman, domestic disturbances, theft, a drunk bicyclist, a Facebook scam and a nuisance. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Unconscious woman
- An unconscious woman was found about 12:30 a.m. Sunday outside a room at the Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave. The woman, who was on her back, regained consciousness and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Domestic disturbances

- A resident in the 200 block of North Caroline Avenue told police shortly after midnight Saturday that a woman hit him and threw items at him during an argument. Officers could not find signs of a battery. The man and the woman gave conflicting statements.
- A man told police that he was hit in the eye during an argument about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of South Hillside Avenue. An investigation is pending.
Theft
- Someone stole a woman's phone about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Starbucks, 680 W. North Ave.
- A person stole several items from the shelves about 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Shell gas station at 654 W. North Ave. The person was last seen heading east on North Avenue.
Drunk bicyclist

- An intoxicated man fell off his bicycle about 4 p.m. Friday at Berkley and Randolph. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Facebook scam
- A resident on Elm Creek Drive told police someone agreed to the price of an item that she had for sale on Facebook. The resident provided her information, but never received payment. The suspect sent threatening messages asking for her money back. An investigation is pending.
Custody issue
- A woman told police Saturday that the father of their daughter failed to pick up the girl for his scheduled parenting time at Portillo's. An investigation is pending.
Nuisance
- About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a man who was eating pizza and trying on several pairs of sunglasses was asked to leave Jewel, 944 S. York St. He was served with a no-trespass notice.
Trespassing
- About 3:30 p.m. Sunday, a person refused to leave the Shell gas station at 218 E. Butterfield Road. The person was served with a no-trespass notice.
