Unlocked Car Stolen In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Cops
Other unlocked cars were ransacked on the same night, according to police reports.

ELMHURST, IL – Residents on three north Elmhurst streets told police about car burglaries earlier this week. Here is information from the reports:
- An unlocked car was stolen overnight Sunday in a driveway in the 500 block of West Belden. Two other cars belonging to the victim were burglarized, with property stolen.
- Two unlocked cars were burglarized about 7:30 a.m. Monday in a driveway in the 400 block of North Highview. A garage door opener and cash were stolen.
- Surveillance footage showed suspects entering an unlocked car about 2 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of North Ridgeland. They then left in a dark gray SUV parked across the street. Nothing was missing from the car. At another house in the same block, someone entered an unlocked car the same night. The suspect entered the garage and ransacked two other cars. A watch was stolen.
