Villa Park Cops Led On High-Speed Chase: Officials
Officers were responding to a domestic dispute. They said a woman was in possession of others' identifications.
VILLA PARK, IL – A Schaumburg woman last weekend led Villa Park officers on a high-speed chase after they responded to a domestic dispute, police said.
Victoria Nee, 32, was arrested on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer and possessing a fictitious identification, both felonies.
Shortly before midnight Sunday, Villa Park officers were called to InTown Suites, 350 E. Roosevelt Road, for a dispute in a van in the parking lot, DuPage County prosecutors said in a news release. An unidentified man was in the front passenger seat.

When officers tapped on the window, Nee put the van in drive and sped away, police said. She reached speeds of 120 mph heading east on Interstate 290, police said.
The van became disabled in the 5900 block of South Mayfield Avenue in Chicago. Nee and the man then ran away, but were caught, prosecutors said.

Searching the van, officers found numerous credit cards and other forms of identification belonging to others. They were said to be in Nee's possession.
"In recent months, we have seen an alarming increase of cases involving defendants fleeing from police," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in the news release. "This type of conduct is extremely dangerous and puts not only the driver at risk, but also puts the police officers involved and the general public at great risk."
Police from the state, Oak Brook, Hinsdale and Chicago helped capture the suspects, authorities said.
