Visitation Catholic School Opens the New School Year With a Blessing of a New Play Structure & Newly Renovated Classrooms
Visitation Catholic School is off to a great start this new school year! Father Michael Kearney blesses new play structure and classrooms!
Elmhurst, IL – August 25, 2017 – Following Visitation’s first school Mass of the year, Father Michael Kearney blessed a new playground structure, two newly renovated Kindergarten classrooms and a newly renovated Art room.
The additions are part of a campaign called “Academic Angels” which allowed the school to offer full day of Kindergarten, as well as many other enhancements to the educational offering at Visitation School.
“We are excited to offer our busy families with not only full day Kindergarten but before and after school care for all students, Pre 3 through 8th grade,” said Christopher Dransoff, Visitation School Principal. “We have also made significant enhancements to the academic experience across our student body, thanks to the generosity of our community via our capital campaign ‘Academic Angels’,” he added.
