Wayne Township Mental Health Board Announces Mental Health Grants
Board Marks 2026 Mental Health Awareness Month With $822,000 Investment in Community Support

West Chicago, IL – The Wayne Township Mental Health Board has approved funding for multiple local organizations as part of its Fiscal Year 2026 grant cycle. These funds support programs that provide mental health services to residents throughout Wayne Township.
Funding supports counseling services, prevention programs, and expanded access to care for residents of all ages.
The Board awarded funding to the following organizations:

- Wayne/Winfield Area Youth/Family Services (WAYS) – $450,000 (New building and expanded programming)
- Teen Parent Connection – $15,000
- Serenity House – $80,000
- Outreach Community Ministries – $60,000
- DuPage Federation – $60,000
- WeGo Together For Kids – $31,000
- Little City – $30,000
- NAMI DuPage – $30,000
- Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley – $36,000
- DuPage Health Coalition – $20,000
- People Made Visible – $5,000
- Educare West DuPage – $5,000
Total funding awarded for Fiscal Year 2026 is $822,000.
“These organizations provide important services to individuals and families in our community,” said Chairman Randy Ramey. “This year’s funding includes a significant investment in expanded facilities and programming to better serve residents.”
