Wayne Township Mental Health Board Announces Mental Health Grants

West Chicago, IL – The Wayne Township Mental Health Board has approved funding for multiple local organizations as part of its Fiscal Year 2026 grant cycle. These funds support programs that provide mental health services to residents throughout Wayne Township.

Funding supports counseling services, prevention programs, and expanded access to care for residents of all ages.

The Board awarded funding to the following organizations:

• Wayne/Winfield Area Youth/Family Services (WAYS) – $450,000 (New building and expanded programming)

• Teen Parent Connection – $15,000
• Serenity House – $80,000
• Outreach Community Ministries – $60,000
• DuPage Federation – $60,000
• WeGo Together For Kids – $31,000
• Little City – $30,000
• NAMI DuPage – $30,000
• Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley – $36,000
• DuPage Health Coalition – $20,000
• People Made Visible – $5,000
• Educare West DuPage – $5,000

Total funding awarded for Fiscal Year 2026 is $822,000.

The Wayne Township Mental Health Board reviews applications annually and allocates funding based on community need, program impact, and available resources.
