WDJH Teachers are “Ba Da Ba Ba Bah, Lovin' it” at McDonald's

Bensenville| WDJH School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school's PTO.

Teachers and support staff from WDJH volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019, at the Bensenville McDonald's located on Route 83. Where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.

The Wood Dale Jr. High staff members worked various jobs throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event. These jobs included, wearing an apple pie costume, apple pie seller, making ice cream treats, Front counter helper, delivering meals to customers, calling out orders, and working the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit the Schools PTO. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to WDJH PTO.

Dennis Stabile, Owner-Operator of the Bensenville McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.

Dennis Stabile is always looking for new opportunities to help the local communities surrounding his McDonald’s restaurants.

"We are proud to serve the families of the WDJH community through the McTeacher's Night event," Stabile continued. "In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community."
