Woman Accused Of Battery At Elmhurst Bank: Police
In another case, a woman was arrested on burglary and retail theft charges for an April incident, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of battery, burglary, retail theft, possession of a stolen vehicle and DUI. Here is information from the latest arrest log:
Battery
- A 34-year-old Kalamazoo, Michigan, woman was arrested about 3 p.m. Tuesday on two counts of battery. Police said the woman battered a victim over her account at First Third Bank, 105 S. York St. She was released.
Burglary

- Geovantae Galloway, 29, of Chicago, was arrested Thursday on charges of burglary and retail theft. It was based on an April 25 incident at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Michael P. Davis, 31, and Marea Lashay Smith-Wilson, 24, both of Aurora, were arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday on charges of burglary and retail theft. Police said they stole a cart full of liquor at Jewel, 944 S. York St. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Possession of a stolen vehicle
- Angel Acevedo, 18, of Streamwood, was arrested about 10 p.m. Wednesday near Sandburg Middle School, 345 E. St. Charles Road, on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, parking on the roadway and having no valid driver's license. Police said the car was stolen in Streamwood. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Steven Fret, 72, of Lombard, was arrested about 1 p.m. Monday on charges of aggravated DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. Police said Fret drove into the parking lot at King Transmission Co., 180 W. Grand Ave., and struck a vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 29-year-old Carol Stream man was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday at North Avenue and York Street on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana in a car, improper display of registration and speeding. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 21-year-old Addison man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Avenue and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, leaving the scene of an accident and driving an uninsured car. He was taken to the police station and then released.
