Woman Arrested After Elmhurst Burglary Call: Cops

The person was charged with DUI and having a stolen car, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Evanston woman was caught this week after police were dispatched to a burglary in Elmhurst, authorities said.

Brianna Espino, 33, was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI, criminal trespass to a building, speeding and improper lane usage. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Police were called about a burglary in progress about 7 a.m. Wednesday at House of Glass, 424 N. York St., according to a police report.

Police were told a person had entered the business through a front window, police said. After being confronted, the person, identified as Espino, left in a van that was later determined to be stolen, police said.
