Woman Attacked By Elmhurst Neighbor's Dog: Cops

The pet's owner was charged with having a dog at large, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst woman told officers this week that a neighbor's dog charged at her and bit her in several spots, police said.

The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Hillside Avenue, police said.

The pet's owner was charged with having a dog at large. Police said DuPage County Animal Services was notified.
