Woman Battered On Elmhurst Street: Cops
In another case, a person went to the hospital after a domestic disturbance, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to two incidents involving battery in the last few days. Here is information from the reports:
- A woman told police that she was walking about 9:30 a.m. Friday near Cedar and Yorkfield avenues when another person struck her. The suspect admitted to confronting the woman, but denied striking her. Because of conflicting statements, no complaints were signed. Both people agreed to have no further contact.
- An argument turned physical about 4 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East Grantley Avenue. One person punched another. The victim was taken by ambulance to Elmhurst Hospital. Charges of domestic battery causing bodily harm are pending against the suspect.
