Woman Creates Ruckus At Elmhurst Bar: Cops
In another case, a woman's tire was slashed while she was at a fitness center, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a restaurant disturbance, a slashed tire, a man eluding an officer, harassing calls, porch piracy and stolen tires. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Restaurant disturbance
- A woman caused a disturbance about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Manny's Ale House, 683 W. St. Charles Road. She was being loud and attempted to hit the manager. She was given a no-trespass notice and left.
Tire slashed

- A woman told police that her rear passenger tire was slashed while it was parked between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at LA Fitness, 620 N. York St. An investigation is pending.
Eluding police
- Sebastian Galvez, 23, of Addison, was arrested about 10 p.m. Tuesday near North and West avenues on a charge of aggravated fleeing and eluding. Police said Galvez sped north from an officer who tried to stop him for driving a vehicle without license plates. Galvez and another person were pulled over by Bensenville police. They were found to be in possession of a handgun. Bensenville police took the pair to the DuPage County Jail. The report does not give the other suspect's name.

- A resident at Elm Creek Apartments on Elm Creek Drive told police that someone removed all four tires and rims from her car between 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday in the apartment complex's parking lot. An investigation is pending.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 100 block of West Brush Hill Road told police Tuesday that he received a letter from a collection agency stating a DirecTV account in his name was past due. The resident did not open the account. He said he contacted credit reporting agencies. An investigation is pending.
Exit signs stolen
- Several fire exit signs were stolen between Jan. 1 and Jan. 25 from the fifth floor at The Willows condo complex, 255 S. West Ave.
Briefcase found
- A briefcase belonging to a man was found about 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Elmhurst train station, 128 W. First St. The owner said he would retrieve it.
Harassing calls
- A resident in the 200 block of East Park Avenue told police Wednesday about receiving unwanted phone calls for nearly two weeks. An officer spoke with the caller, who agreed to end communications with the resident.
Porch piracy
- A resident in the 300 block of South West Avenue told police Wednesday that a package that was supposed to contain an Apple Watch was empty. The resident noticed the box had been opened and resealed.
