Woman Disorderly At Elmhurst Restaurant: Cops
In another case, someone stole a woman's wallet while she was shopping at a grocery store, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving disorderly conduct, a stolen wallet, a loaded gun, a sidewalk fall, a drunk person, trespassing, retail theft, a domestic disturbance and a stolen bicycle. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Disorderly conduct
- A 53-year-old Melrose Park woman was arrested about 11 a.m. Tuesday at Starbucks, 680 W. North Ave., on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said she was involved in an altercation. She was released.

- A woman's wallet was stolen while she was shopping about 2:30 p.m. Monday at Mariano's, 768 N. York St. She discovered several unauthorized transactions were made on her credit cards. Footage showed a person reaching into the woman's purse before leaving the store in a gray Dodge Durango with no license plates.
Loaded gun
- A 21-year-old Hanov
er Park man was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday at Route 83 and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI (marijuana), speeding and unlawful use of a weapon. Police said he had a loaded gun. He was released.
Sidewalk fall

- A person fell while walking on the sidewalk about 10 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of East Yorkfield. The person was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Drunk person
- An officer and medics responded about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Winthrop to a person who was intoxicated and requested to go to the hospital. The person was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Trespassing
- A person refused to leave about 1 a.m. Tuesday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, after being discharged. The person was served with a no-trespass notice.
Retail theft
- A man and a woman stole several liquor bottles about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83. The suspects were known from a previous retail theft case. An investigation is pending.
Domestic disturbance
- Two people were involved in a domestic disturbance about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Michigan Street. They were in an argument when the suspect took her car keys, grabbed her phone and pushed the other person aside, police said. Officers found no signs of injury. The victim wanted to have the incident documented.
Stolen bicycle
- A black Trek Marlin 6 bicycle was stolen between 8:25 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at Jewel, 944 S. York St. The bike was unlocked. An investigation is pending.
